In recent years, by strengthening its international presence through bilateral agreements with partner institutions, the Célia Helena School of Arts has offered its students a broader professional horizon through intercultural and academic experiences. These agreements also provide for the hosting of international professors and researchers, fostering dialogue on artistic and cultural initiatives developed in their countries of origin.
Semester Exchange Programs
With credit equivalency to our academic curriculum, these programs are designed for students of the ESCH Theatre Undergraduate Program and may be undertaken during the 3rd, 4th, or 5th semester at three partner universities in Portugal and Spain:

Open Courses
With the aim of broadening artistic and cultural understanding, as well as promoting teaching and research activities, Célia Helena has dedicated itself to developing partnerships with international institutions through artistic and academic exchanges, while also offering open courses to students across all programs of the school (Professional Training, Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and Professional Master’s).
Each year, Célia Helena welcomes directors and faculty members from the New York Film Academy (NYFA) for lectures, workshops, and information sessions about the renowned American institution and its programs. Students interested in short-term courses (Summer courses) or long-term programs (Undergraduate, Postgraduate, or Master’s degrees) take part in auditions to compete for scholarships across various disciplines, including Musical Theatre and Acting for Film.
